Hull-headquartered Windsor Materials Handling, one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of forklifts, access and materials handling equipment (MHE), has acquired Southampton-based Geolift Ltd following £3.3 million in funding from Santander Corporate & Commercial. Carers’ Support (Bexley), has received £5,000 to fund a specialist benefits advice service for carers. The service is aimed at those carers who are struggling financially due to the requirements of their caring role, giving them the confidence and experience to become financially stable. The grant will specifically benefit unpaid carers and the disabled people they care for in the London Borough of Bexley.

MET Medical Ltd, a St Albans based private ambulance service, has purchased six additional emergency response vehicles and hired 20 new staff following £300,000 funding from Santander Business Banking.
